Authentic Talent Edge / NegotiateHer ("Company," "we," "us") operates the NegotiateHer website, mobile experience, and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you.

1. Information We Collect

Account & Profile Information: first and last name, email address, username, password (stored in encrypted form), and zip code.

Student Plan Verification: school name and grade or year level, used solely to verify student eligibility.

Payment Information: processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers.

Usage & Engagement Data: lessons completed, practice scenarios attempted, streaks, and other in-app progress metrics.

Conversations with Vera (AI Coach): the text of your interactions, used to generate responses and improve the Service.

Community Content: posts, replies, and profile details you share in The Circle and the Win Wall.

Technical & Device Data: IP address, browser and device type, log data, and cookies.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, and personalize the Service
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Verify Student plan eligibility
• Communicate service updates and billing notices
• Monitor, maintain, and improve the Service
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information for money.

3. AI Coach (Vera) Disclosures

Vera is an artificial intelligence chatbot, not a human coach, therapist, attorney, or financial advisor. Vera's responses are for educational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice.

Where we know a user is a minor, we will clearly disclose that the user is interacting with an AI system and maintain protocols to prevent harmful content.

4. Children & Teen Privacy

The Free and Pro plans are intended for users 18 and older. The Student plan is intended for verified students at least 13 years old. NegotiateHer is not intended for children under 13. For users between 13 and 17, we apply additional safeguards including no sale of personal information and no targeted advertising.

5. How We Share Information

• Service providers (hosting, analytics, Stripe) under confidentiality obligations
• Enterprise Customers, limited to aggregate usage data only
• Law enforcement where required by law
• A successor entity in the event of a merger or acquisition

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the NegotiateHer website, mobile experience, and related services (the "Service"), operated by Authentic Talent Edge / NegotiateHer ("Company"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Age Requirements

The Free and Pro plans are for users at least 18 years old. The Student plan is for verified students at least 13 years old. Users under 18 represent that they have parental or guardian consent. The Service may not be used by children under 13.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

NegotiateHer offers a Free plan and paid Student ($5/month) and Pro ($9.99/month) plans. Enterprise plans are available at pricing determined during agreement initiation; Enterprise customers will be contacted directly to establish custom terms.

Paid plans automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-period refunds except where required by law. Payments processed by Stripe.

4. The Vera AI Coach

Vera is an artificial intelligence feature, not a human being or licensed professional. Vera's output may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on Vera as a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or career advice.

If you express thoughts of self-harm or a mental health crisis, Vera is designed to direct you to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988).

5. Community Conduct & Content

You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You are solely responsible for content you post.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its content, lessons, design, and the Vera AI coach, is owned by Company and protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted to you beyond the limited right to use the Service.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. THE SERVICE DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL, FINANCIAL, MEDICAL, OR CAREER ADVICE, AND ANY NEGOTIATION OUTCOMES ARE NOT GUARANTEED.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPANY'S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. COMPANY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
